Are these classes in-person or on-line?
Classes are conducted live & online. Online, for our purposes, means that we use Zoom and other meeting software to facilitate a live discussion and interaction between the students and with the teacher. We use the terms: class, e-course, and course interchangeably.
Is every student accepted?
No. Spaces are limited, and if we determine that the student’s needs are beyond our purview, we may decline and/or refer this student elsewhere.

What are the classroom ground rules?
- No __. Use your brain.
- Do not record classroom time, which is covered under copyright, and any violators will be expelled, and forfeit their tuition. We also reserve the right to address any grievances legally.
- Do not share other people’s stories shared in confidence with you. It’s a sign of respect for someone to tell you about themselves— take this honor seriously.
- Destructive, disrespectful or otherwise inappropriate behavior will result in expulsion, tuition will not be refunded.
- Having a difference of opinion with someone is allowed. It’s not an infringement on anyone’s safety; it’s an intellectual discussion.
- And if you disagree with someone, find a way to not make it personal.
- Be patient and non-judgmental with each other: Your job in class exercises is not to “solve” anyone’s problem. Everyone has to develop her/his own insights.
- Where applicable, make sure to purchase, and have in hand, the class text before the first day of class. You do not need to have read it through before day one, we will work through the book together.
